SDVOSB Flooring Company
Recently Dragon Scale was certified as an SDVOSB, which stands for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business. It is a great honor to be granted this status and something we take immense pride in. Here is a little more information on the SDVOSB accreditation and what it means to be a SDVOSB Flooring Company.
What is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business?
The service-disabled veteran-owned small business program (SDVOSB for short) is a government program designed to aid veterans. This program is built to help obtain contracts for veteran owned businesses in the United States. Here at Dragon Scale Flooring, we were recently approved as an SDVOSB Flooring Company, and it’s something we’re especially proud of.
How Does A Business Become an SDVOSB?
Any business which would like to be considered an SDVOSB, must be at least 51% owned by an individual considered as a service-disabled veteran. A veteran is any person who served in the active military, naval, or air service and was released under conditions other than dishonorable. Any service-member who incurred an injury or disability while serving is able to be considered service-disabled. A combination of these two qualify a business for SDVOSB status.
What Does this Mean for You?
At Dragon Scale Flooring, Inc. we are a veteran owned business, that works to serve our community as best we can. We make an effort to hire veterans whenever we can and we are now a certified SDVOSB business as well. We are proud of our service, proud of qualifying for SDVOSB, and proud to serve our community.
